The Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds are important too in conjunction with your blogs to get the best benefits. Use effective keyword phrases to generate high ranking status in the search engine traffic. In this way you have better chances of people finding your website leading to your blogs. More traffic means more potential sales.

For this to be successful, you can use RSS for news update feeds which can be read through RSS reader application. This is a very useful tool for business and internet marketers as well.

If you are already convinced with the potentials of business blogs for marketing and targeting sales increase, your company is now ready to start blogging. But first, you have to be in tune with your company’s business objectives and determine if blogging will really help you achieve your goal.

1. Several blogs are dedicated to teaching people the do’s and don’ts of blogging, READ them! Include in your reading materials blogs that are consumer-based too to give you an idea.

2. Setup several test blogs right away.

If your initial try out with blogs worked well, you can now start setting up your blogs.

1. Study blog design. Blog hosting services provide pre-designed templates. But if you opt for paid blog service, you can ask your artist to design and layout your blog site to match the company’s identity and needs.

2. Choose a topic. Its good to have a line-up of topics you want for your blogs but be sure they are in consonance with your business objectives. This would be a test of your flexibility and open-mindedness since results may be going against the set objectives.

3. Remember the following safety measures in blogging:

- legal issues are sometimes involved in blogging; it is safer to include disclaimers and limitations of liabilities;

- corporate communication and legal department are responsible in educating the senior management on how blogs might affect business;

- create blogging policies; set limits on who gets to blog and what information are allowed to be made public;

- avoid outright marketing blog or you will shy away your readers;

- make content updated, relevant and fresh;

- reinforce the company’s core values; and,

- encourage employees to use it.

4. Start blogging and complete 20 posts before going to marketing.

5. Begin marketing.

6. Regularly monitor the coming ins and outs of readers and get updates. Then, measure your results.

7. Adjust if needed. You can always play with your designs in the blog site as long as it remains to match the company’s identity.

8. Strive to be consistent with your topic all the time.

9. Try to have unrelated topics with general and broad appeal.

10.Schedule updates regularly. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday would be best to update blogs.

Once you have done all these things, you can now ultimately enjoy the benefits of business blogging.

Making Cash with Your Blog

Posted in Make Money via Blogging by nicr on the April 3rd, 2008

Believe it or not, but it’s actually possible to make money from blogging. One teenager has, in fact, earned $5,000 a month just from making posts on his blog!

Of course, not every blogger is this lucky. It does take some skill, and some luck to make money from blogging. What it also takes is some knowledge of how exactly to generate income just by posting blogs. In this newsletter, we will go over three specific methods of making money on your blog: Adsense, Pay Per Lead, and Affiliate Links.

So how exactly do I make money on my blog?
You do it by working with another company that wants to use your blog as a form of advertising. It sounds like selling out, right? Not exactly. The advertising can be as in your face or subtle as you want. And it can still make you money, provided you have enough visitors to your blog.

What is Adsense?
Adsense is a program offered by Google. The program, if installed, will display ads provided by Google.

How do I get Adsense?
You’ll need to go to Google.com, first. At the bottom of the screen is a link for “Advertising Programs”. Click on that. Then click on the link for “Adsense”. Scroll down on the page that comes up and click “Click Here To Apply!” You then fill out the form with information about yourself. After 12-48 hours, Google will notify you via email whether or not your site has been accepted. When you’ve been accepted, set up your ads by doing either of the following:

1.If your blog is hosted on Blogger.com, you can set up your AdSense ads by going to your profile, selecting settings>template>add an element. Then select AdSense and login with your account info. Next, you’ll configure your ads and save the template. That’s it.

2.If you are self-hosting your blog, you’ll have to set up AdSense in more of a manual way. You’ll create your ads (which can be as small or as tall as you want) and then copy the HTML/Javascript code Google gives you. Then you’ll paste it into your blog (on the left, right, or top of the screen).

For the first few days, the ads displayed by Google will be Public Service Announcements. After the ads have been up a few days, though, the ads will switch to ads that are relevant to your blog.

How does Adsense work?

Every time a visitor clicks an Adsense ad, you get a little bit of money (usually around 30-60 cents). The amount you get for each ad clicked depends on the number of unique visitors you receive on your blog. The more visitors, the more money that can be earned.

Google will then send a check or pay you through Paypal once you’ve made at least $100 from the ads.

It is important to remember that Google will penalize you if you click your own ads, or if you ask visitors specifically to click ads. So don’t do that!

Pay Per Click
Pay Per Click is basically just like AdSense, except you don’t just work with Google—you work with multiple companies. BidVertiser is one such company you can sign up with to do Pay Per Click advertising.

How do I get Pay Per Click?
You sign up with a site like Bidvertiser and then follow their instructions to set up the Pay Per Click ads on your site.

How does Pay Per Click work?
It works by paying you money each time someone clicks an ad that you display. You won’t get paid for multiple clicks from the same user in the same visitor, nor will you get paid for someone simply visiting your site. You only get paid for legitimate clicks.

Affiliate Links
Affiliate links are basically links which people pay you for. Companies will actually pay owners of popular blogs to post links on their blog. You can do as much Affiliate linking as you want.

How do I get Affiliate Links?
You can get Affiliate links by searching for “Affiliate Link Programs” on the internet. Once you find an Affiliate link program that looks good to you, sign up for it. Then you can follow their instructions for putting the link(s) on your blog.

How do Affiliate Links work?
Like the other two methods mentioned above, Affiliate links work by paying you money each time they are clicked. You get paid for each click per unique visitor.

So that’s it. There’s three legitimate ways to make money from blogging. It is important to keep in mind that the amount of money you are able to make depends on how many visitors your blog draws. If you draw a lot, you’ll make a lot. If not, the money you earn will be modest. But it’s still extra money, so why not do it?

Making money using Adsense, Pay Per Click or Affiliate Link programs is easy and effective. Start monetizing your blog today!

How To Get More Blog Traffic

Posted in Make Money via Blogging by nicr on the April 3rd, 2008

Blog traffic is one of the the most important contributing factors to any Blog’s success. If you want to make some money from your blog it’s a numbers game. The more traffic you get the more money you’ll make. It’s a simple equation.

However, when you first start a Blog and possibly for many months afterwards it can be a soul destroying experience as traffic to your site trickles in. It can be an up hill struggle to build steady, quality, targeted traffic. It takes dedication, focus and time.

So how do you get more traffic to your Blog fast?

To begin with you should build from the ground up and start with good content. You want the traffic you do draw to the site to stick around, read your content, maybe sign up for your newsletter or RSS feed, post a comment on their own Blog and ideally come back again and again.

Blog traffic will build naturally if you create useful content for your readers and make contacts within the Blogging community. Although this sounds simple building Blog traffic is harder than one might think and there’s much more you can do. Taking the time to learn and apply some simple traffic building techniques will see you speed past your competition.

Regular updates are a must, a minimum of 3 times a week at least. These don’t have to be major articles. A few paragraphs would suffice if time is tight. But if that’s the case those paragraphs better be interesting.

This will at least encourage the readers you do get to keep coming back. An active Blog with comments from current readers encourages more readers. It’s the herd mentality in action. ;)

Who wants to be the only reader on a Blog?

Try to encourage interaction, be available to your readers and be quick to reply to comments. Visit your readers Blogs add comments there this may entice their readers to visit your Blog and boost your readership.

Assume that every day is new, because you always have new readers. If you have a passion for your life, your business, your family, your interests whatever your Blog subject is and you share this with your readers they can’t help but revisit your site.

Bloggers also love to see other bloggers mention their site. Using a trackback ensures that they know about the mention, which will also increase your exposure and the possibility that they will post about your blog and introduce their audience to you.

When you show a genuine interest in what another blogger is writing about, then that peaks their interest in you.

Trackback can be one of the most effective methods of making connections within the blogging community.

Traffic is the pulse of a blog, without traffic there are no readers, without readers there is no point keeping the blog. Overall remember good content, be active and available.

For a FREE, quick and easy way to boost your Blog traffic long-term, permanently and virally try this brand new service -

Blog Rush Has Gone Huge

Posted in Make Money via Blogging by nicr on the April 3rd, 2008

You need to get in now before it hits saturation point. The service is entirely f.ree so what have you got to loose?

Watch the video and then sign up -

www.youwilllovethis.info/BR

The sooner you get in, the more traffic you can pull to your Blog and the more clicks, sales or leads you will generate.

The service only went live on Saturday and I have it running on just one Blog. This is a Blog I do little with and it gets little traffic as I just don’t have the time to promote it.

So it was ideal for testing the service. ;)

It’s gone from 54 page views a day to 130 and the viral side of things hasn’t even kicked in fully yet.

Here’s a screenshot of the credits I’ve earned as of 19th Sept 11am GMT, its gone up 81 in the 2 minutes it’s taken me to write this email -

www.ppcaccelerator.com/BR-Credits/

That’s 6,482.5 credits!!!

You’ll kick yourself if you miss this boat. ;)

For a simple explanation of how the credits are are used watch the video on the site.

Remember if you can find some high traffic Blogs outside of the Net M.arketing niche (simply because they will not have heard of this service yet) and convince them to sign up you could easily tap into their traffic.

You could find a Blog with 10,000 visitors a day and convince them to sign up. That’s going to give you 10,000 credits a day!!

Blogs Build Up Back Links in Search Engines

Posted in Make Money via Blogging by nicr on the April 3rd, 2008

One of the most powerful online tools that any online entrepreneur can use to quickly build up back links pointing to their sites is a blog or web log as it used to be referred to in the early days.

Actually there are very few other online tools that can be as effective as a blog in helping a webmaster build up the number of back links pointing to their site at high speed.

Link Bait Articles and Blogs

One of the most effective techniques to use with blogging is to create a link bait article on your blog. Link bait articles as the name suggests is the kind of article that provokes others to link to it.

To succeed with link bait articles, you will need to be very focused about what you want to achieve because there are various techniques and the worst mistake you can make is to try and combine several of them instead of selecting one.

The most common technique is to target the most popular blogger for a well orchestrated campaign. You can contradict them on a certain controversial issue for instance. The idea here is to create a buzz around the controversy. The more people discuss the issue the more they will want to link to your article as they refer to it.

If you have access to explosive industry news that nobody else has, this is yet another way to create a link bait article or post. It will help if your news item is closely related to a hot topic of debate or discussion that is going on at the moment.

Remember that the objective here is to accumulate a high number of back links as quickly as possible pointing to your site. The effect of this will be to dramatically increase traffic to your site immediately and gradually to help improve your ranking with search engines so that you get even more traffic coming in directly from search engines.

Using Blogs to Create a Presence and Winning Image

Yet another way in which you can use blogs effectively is in creating a presence for yourself and an effective image. This is very easy to do. All you need to do is to launch a blog that shows off your expertise.

And then to attract attention to yourself visit other blogs that cover a similar subject to what you are an expert in. Give free advice and useful incites but make sure that you do not link back to your site in your comments. Just concentrate on building up the right image you want as an expert in your field.

If you do this effectively, two things will happen. Firstly sooner or later those reading your comments will start to look for your site. Finding it should not be too difficult because most blog software links back to your site using your name.

The blogs that do not do this like blogger will link back to your profile and so all you have to do is update your profile and it will be very easy to find your site. The last resort is to use your name on a search engine which most folks are able to do very easily.

The second thing that will happen is that as traffic to your blog grows, so will the back links to your site

Link to Other Blogs to Receive More Links Than You Can Handle

This strategy may look suspect but it usually works like a charm. It is based on the simple golden rule of life that to receive, one has to give first. All you have to do is to create a useful blog with plenty of valuable information and then link to other blogs and sites that are useful resources for further information concerning what you have discussed on your blog.

Now while it is true that not every site you link to will link back, the truth is that some will and if you continue with this practice for a reasonable period of time, you will end up with a sizeable amount of back links pointing to your site.

Blogs are very valuable online tools for helping any webmaster quickly build up their traffic and back links. And what is more blogs can be used in many different ways to accomplish this feat.

Terry Detty finds Search Engine Marketing and Press Release Distribution his passion. In addition to marketing, he enjoys reading and occasionally goes out for a short walk. His latest interest is a new Press Release Service program he’s been using.

What is a blog?

Posted in Make Money via Blogging by nicr on the April 3rd, 2008

What is a blog?
The word Blog is an acronym for WeB LOG. blogs allow their writers the opportunity to write an online journal sharing their thoughts on everything and anything with an audience of millions. When blogs first hit the Internet they were basically online journals/diaries of individuals. The blogging sphere evolved and now it seems every one has a blog and many companies both big and small will have a blog sometimes written by a team.
What is the difference between a Website and a BLOG?
A blog is to all intent and purposes a website. The main difference is that a blog is geared up for easily publishing content on a particular subject and is therefore more regularly updated when compared to a website which is more static. Also the content is usually more bite size and opinionated when compared to the content of a website. A blog also allows for a two-way conversation as visitors to blogs are often allowed to respond to the blogs posts.

Do You Need Help Adding RSS Feeds To Your Blogger?

It’s really easy and here is how you can do it:

Log into your blogger account

Go to “settings”

Go to “site feed”

Copy the “site feed url”

Then go to www.feedburner.com

Scroll down to “try feedburner today” and paste your “site feed url” and then click next. You’ll be at “select services” There are lots of options on that page and you can look through them all, but to get to the feeds you need to go to the bottom of that page and click on “next”.

Then you can log in or sign up. It’s free to sign up. After you fill in your info then click and that page will allow you to “activate your feed”. Click on that and then click on “launch your publicity tools” and then click on “chicklet chooser”. Then you have many options. I personally always choose the “my yahoo”, “my msn”, “newsgator” and “xml”. Click on each one and you’ll see the code you need to grab. You have to do it for each one.

Then just go back to your template and put it in. You’re set. As you can see there are other different things you can do too. So look around in there and check them all out.

But that is just the very basics of getting a feed up. Now, when you get that feed added let me know so I can add you to my personal “my yahoo” page!

To Blog or Not to Blog…

“To Blog or not to Blog…”

Terry Dashner………………………….Faith Fellowship Church PO Box 1586 Broken Arrow, OK 74013

It’s entitled, Blog {Understanding The Information Reformation That’s Changing Your World} (Nelson Books 2005). His name is Hugh Hewitt, and he’s written something worth reading, especially if you’re interested in impact. Allow me to continue.

Listen to this: “Since HughHewitt.com was launched in early 2002, more than ten million people have visited his site (seven million just since the beginning of 2004). ‘Why does this visitor traffic matter?’ asks Hewitt. ‘People’s attentions are up for grabs. If you depend upon the steady trust of others, suddenly you have an audience waiting to hear from you.’ The race is underway, though, to gain mindspace and to be part of readers’ habits. If your organization has not established itself in blogosphere, now is the time to move ahead, but quickly!”

I agree. God has provided a powerful weapon in our arsenal of faith. Disseminating words is powerful. And when the words disseminated are wise and informative, they become a mighty gun against the forces of ignorance, prejudice, foolishness, stupidity, immaturity… (Pardon me. I got carried away). Many of you have heard me preach. Some of you have heard me say that the most powerful medium to change the hearts of men has been, and will always be—the written and disseminated word. Why do I say that? Because it is true, and I like speaking truth. I sleep better at night, having spoken truth throughout the daytime.

The church has gotten it wrong. It isn’t the western televangelist that’s going to win the Muslim to Jesus Christ. A testimony of a Muslim turning to Jesus, written down on a leaflet or pamphlet and disseminate widely will. Don’t get me wrong. There are some good TV evangelists who love God and do a good work for the church; however, the medium of television is too expensive, too impractical to win the world for Jesus. Missionaries on the ground and armed with videos, pamphlets, and medicine will do the “greater works.” (I know I’m opinionated; but at 50 I’ve earned the right. If it’s too much for you, use the delete key that God gave your computer.)

Mr. Hewitt did a wonderful job telling the story of Martin Luther, the great Reformer, and how his writings—widely disseminated because of the newly invented movable type—changed the world. He did a remarkable feat in sharing his vision of the future for disseminating information around the world via the Blogger. I recommend you read his book today and start blogging tomorrow.

The Old Testament prophet Daniel spoke of a day when knowledge would increase, explode on the scene as it were. The Apostle Paul spoke of a day when people would run “to and fro” looking for something new. I understand these remarks in a good way. Today is a day that people want good, wholesome, challenging, well researched, information. I believe today is the day for believers everywhere to unit and Blog. Let’s Blog them into the Kingdom of righteousness!

Remember, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1.

Keep the faith. Stay the course. Jesus is coming soon. But until He does, get the word out!
